I am sorry I can't be with you today, but my thoughts are with you Alison and Paul
Don was a lovely person who made me laugh, with his cheeky comments, he brought sunshine and warmth in my life and I felt privileged to have known him
Rest in peace Don

What can I say in a few short words to sum up a lifetime of kindness, help and encouragement you gave me.
Your enthusiasm for all things with an engine, especially anything old and noisy was heartwarming and infectious.
I’m going to miss our conversations, reminiscing of old times and our exploits and journeys. Trying to remember the fine details of the tale, like surnames and road names etc that didn’t really matter to the story, but we both tested our memories to come up with that elusive bit of fine detail we so craved!
I’m going to miss you calling me “owd lad” when you asked how I was or when I was leaving to head home.
Your old sayings live on in me and always will do. I always wanted you to be proud of me and to carry on with my interest in old motorbikes and anything mechanical well engineered.
Love You Always

Couldn't have met a nicer chap, loved his sense of humour and he was a great friend to our dad when he was ill too ... will never forget him. Love, James
